About me
Do you have TMJ / Jaw issues? I have a special interest in working with people experiencing severe facial tension based on clinical observations in my previous role as a body worker specialising in TMJ dysfunction.
TMJ Symptoms include neck pain, tension headaches, migraines, shoulder tension, and coexist with conditions such as digestive issues and chronic fatigue.
You may have tried mouth-guards, jaw exercises, pain medication and been offered botox. It may all have worked for a while but you still find yourself dealing with jaw pain, clicking and tension that flares up when you're stressed.
There is an intimate connection between our physical and mental health, and physical manifestations are often expressions of held emotions, old stress patterns and protective responses that no longer serve us.
Approaching pain not as an isolated symptom but as part of a deeper underlying pattern can bring greater understanding when seeking pain relief and well-being.
If this resonates with you, an introductory call may help determine if my approach is right for you.

My extensive experience as a holistic body-worker laid the foundation for my development into Psychotherapy. I understand the relationship between our physical and emotional parts which are deeply entwined through suppressed emotions, stress patterns and unresolved issues and trauma. I have witnessed the emotional release encouraged by physical interventions and now my work is aimed at providing a therapeutic space to explore and address the underlying causes of deep-rooted tension stored in the body.
I also run monthly therapeutic writing workshops designed to lower stress levels, encourage cognitive processing and provide relaxation through creative and mindful practice.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I work from two locations: I am based on a Wednesday in Central London, within a 5 minute walk from Bond Street and Oxford Circus underground stations.
The majority of my hours are conducted in Bromley in a private therapy room located in my first floor apartment. The space is confidential and we have guaranteed privacy during our sessions.
The apartment and building are quiet which offers a peaceful space for contemplation and reflection.
I also offer online sessions for those who are unable to travel or too far away.
