About me
Hey there, I'm Christian, diving into counselling can feel like stepping into a maze blindfolded. It's totally normal to have doubts, uncertainties, and maybe even a bit of scepticism about the whole process. But I'm here to tell you that it's okay to feel that way, and I've got your back as you navigate this journey towards better mental health and self-discovery.
Choosing to seek counselling isn't just a decision; it's a commitment to yourself, and I want you to know that I'm here to support you, every step of the way. In my practice, I don't believe in one-size-fits-all approaches. Instead, I tailor my therapeutic techniques to fit your unique needs and preferences. Whether you prefer a more structured approach or a laid-back conversation, we'll find what works best for you.
As a therapist focusing on men's mental health, I've seen firsthand the unique challenges that men often face. From societal expectations to navigating relationships and dealing with the pressures of everyday life, I get it. And I'm here to help you navigate through it all.
Life can be a rollercoaster of ups and downs, and sometimes, it's hard to keep your head above water. But you don't have to do it alone. Together, we can create a roadmap for your journey – one that addresses your individual goals, challenges, and aspirations. Because finding a sense of balance, fulfilment, and belonging isn't just a luxury; it's a necessity.
I know that reaching out for help can be daunting. It takes courage to admit that you need support, but it's also a powerful step towards reclaiming control over your life. So, if you're ready to take that leap, I'm here to walk alongside you, offering guidance, support, and a safe space to explore whatever comes your way.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
I'm all about making sure you feel comfortable and confident with your counselling journey. That's why I offer a complimentary 20-minute session online or over the phone. It's a chance for us to chat about my approach, address any questions or concerns you may have, and see if we vibe well together.
After that initial chat, if you feel like I'm the right fit for you, we can schedule our next session. Whether you prefer meeting in person, continuing online, or with phone sessions, the choice is yours. I'm here to make this process as smooth and convenient for you as possible.
