Psychotherapist (MA), MBACP (Registered)

About me

Life can feel overwhelming sometimes. Whether you're going through a big change, feeling stuck, or just not quite yourself, you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m here to offer a safe, supportive space where you can talk freely- without fear of judgement.

I’m a fully qualified Integrative Psychotherapist (MA;MBACP), registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). With over five years of experience in mental health, I have worked across the NHS, The Priory, and the charity sector, supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds facing a wide range of difficulties.

I take a warm, down-to-earth approach to therapy, and I believe there’s no “one size fits all” when it comes to what helps. That’s why I tailor each session to suit you - your experiences, your needs, and your goals.

I have a particular interest in how our relationships - with ourselves and others -shape how we feel and how we cope. If you find yourself repeating the same patterns, or struggling to connect, therapy can help shine a light on that and support change.

We can work together short-term (8 or 12 weeks) or for a longer period, depending on what feels right for you.

My aim is to create a space where you feel truly heard and understood.Together, we’ll explore what’s going on for you, and work towards a life that feels more grounded, connected, and fulfilling.

My Approach & Experience

My therapeutic approach draws on a range of modalities, including Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Person-centred therapy, CBT, Compassion-focused therapy, Interpersonal therapy and Mindfulness. Whether it’s exploring your past, understanding your thoughts and emotions, or finding practical tools to cope, we’ll work together at your pace.

I’ve supported people through many challenges, including anxiety, depression, panic attacks, grief, relationship issues, trauma, low self-esteem, stress, and life changes. Whatever you’re facing, you don’t have to go through it alone.

What to Expect

Engaging with therapy and finding a suitable practitioner can feel daunting, especially if it is your first experience. I offer a free 15-minute introductory call to make the process as smooth as possible. This meeting should help establish whether you feel I am the right fit for you.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
