About me
I am an integrative psychotherapist (MA; MBACP), registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I offer a compassionate and non-judgemental approach to exploring your current difficulties and past experiences.
I practice from an integrative approach, as I recognise that different people need different things from therapy. By blending elements of various therapeutic modalities, I am able to tailor the therapy to your individual needs. Thereby supporting you in making successful and meaningful changes to the challenges you are facing.
With over 5 years of experience working within mental health services; NHS, The Priory and the charitable sector. I am experienced in working with a broad range of individuals both in terms of their diversity and difficulties. I provide both short term (8 or 12 weeks) and open-ended work.
I have a specific interest in relationships and attachment, focusing on the role they play in mental health difficulties. Helping you to understand the relationship you hold with yourself and the way you relate to others.
I am aware that life brings change, uncertainty and challenges which if left unresolved can influence how we feel. By empathising with you and providing a trusting space, I hope you can feel empowered to create a more fulfilling life. Working together we will navigate life’s challenges and help you recognise you are not alone.
My Approach & Experience
My therapeutic approach draws on a range of modalities, including Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Person-centred therapy, CBT, Compassion-focused therapy, Interpersonal therapy and Mindfulness.
I am particularly experienced in supporting individuals suffering with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, relationship difficulties, grief, loss, transitional difficulties, sexual abuse, domestic violence, stress/burnout, low self-esteem, abuse, trauma, among many more.
What to Expect
Engaging with therapy and finding a suitable practitioner can feel daunting, especially if it is your first experience. I offer a free 30-minute introductory call to make the process as smooth as possible. This meeting should help establish whether you feel I am the right fit for you.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
