About me

Do you ever feel like you’re not good enough?

Maybe that's a fear you don't want to admit to anyone else. You're afraid of being judged, disliked or getting it wrong. So you doubt yourself. You hold on to criticism. You overthink what you say and do, worried about letting people down or not meeting their expectations. And when someone is disappointed in you, it can feel like it's your fault. You should have done better - been better.

I specialise in helping people who worry about being judged or disliked, and struggle to feel good enough - in relationships, work and daily life. I help clients through conflict, difficult dynamics and big life changes - when you feel overwhelmed, anxious or somehow inadequate.

I do things differently - I have a modern approach to therapy. I listen with curiosity, depth and radical acceptance. Together, we make sense of your experience, while creating the conditions for deeper change. Over time, you can develop a more confident, assertive way of being. You can begin to feel secure in yourself, have presence and do what's right for you - even when someone else might not agree.

Want to get started?

If something I have said resonates with you, I invite you to get in touch.

You can book a free 20-minute consultation to meet me, talk a little about what brings you to therapy and see how it feels to speak together.

Or, if you have questions first, you can email me directly.

All areas of my practice:

  • Anxiety and overthinking
  • Relationship conflicts, attachment, and family dynamics
  • Work, professional study or academic stress
  • Feeling lost, stuck, or unsure about direction
  • Loss, grief, life transitions, and breakups
  • Identity, culture, and belonging
  • ADHD and neurodiversity

My practice focuses on individual therapy for adults (18+).

Commitment to Inclusivity:

I’m committed to anti-oppressive, culturally sensitive practice. I actively welcome clients from all backgrounds, identities and experiences. You will be met with warmth and respect, whoever you are and whatever you bring.

Training, qualifications & experience

Professional background
I trained at the Metanoia Institute, a leading counselling and psychotherapy training institution in the UK, which is widely recognised for its high standards of professional training and clinical practice. I hold a BACP-accredited BSc (Hons) in Person-Centred Pluralistic Counselling (Advanced Practitioner), graduating with First Class Honours, which reflects both my academic and clinical training.

I also hold a BACP-accredited Professional Certificate of Facilitation for Online and Telephone Counselling, reflecting my specialised training in the relational and practical nuances of working remotely. This means online and phone therapy with me is competently and ethically held, rather than treated as a substitute for in-person work.

Professional standards
I am a registered member of the BACP, which demonstrates that I meet their standards of proficiency, professionalism, and ethical practice. As part of my membership, I engage in supervision and ongoing professional development to ensure the quality and integrity of my work.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
