About me

I offer online therapy for individuals who are looking for a space to explore their experiences, understand themselves better, and work through challenges that may be affecting their wellbeing.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I take time to understand each person’s unique circumstances, values, and goals. My approach is thoughtful and flexible, allowing us to explore what feels most relevant and helpful for you.

People come to therapy for many different reasons sometimes because they are struggling with anxiety, low mood, relationships, past experiences, or periods of change, and sometimes because they want to gain a deeper understanding of themselves. Whatever brings you here, we can take time to explore what is happening and what you would like to be different.

Through The Online Therapy Space, I provide online sessions that offer flexibility and accessibility, allowing you to engage in therapy from a place that feels comfortable and fits around your life.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Fees

£70.00 per session

Additional information

Sessions are £70 per 50-minute session.

I offer a complimentary 20-minute introductory call before we begin therapy. This gives us the opportunity to briefly discuss what has brought you to therapy and whether we feel we would be a good fit to work together.

Following this, if you decide to begin therapy, sessions are 50 minutes and take place online at an agreed time each week.

Further information

My training began with psychodynamic counselling, which gave me a lasting appreciation for the ways our early experiences, relationships, and environments can shape how we experience ourselves and others. Rather than focusing only on what is happening in the present, I am interested in understanding the story behind it.

As my practice has developed, I have trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and worked in short-term counselling services, where I learned the value of balancing reflection with practical change. Sometimes people want to understand why they feel the way they do; at other times, they need support to make life feel more manageable. Both are important.

Working within an online low-cost counselling service has brought me alongside people from many different walks of life, each with their own experiences, strengths, and challenges. It has reinforced my belief that there is no single way of understanding distress or helping someone move forward.

These experiences have shaped how I work today. Rather than being guided by one therapeutic model, I draw on different perspectives and adapt our work together to what feels most meaningful for you. I see therapy as a shared process of curiosity, understanding, and change one that respects your individuality rather than trying to fit you into a particular way of working.
