About me

When life be life-ing, sometimes it can all become too much with too many things to manage and being an adult can quite frankly suck.

Maybe you find yourself people-pleasing, overthinking, struggling to say no, putting everyone else’s needs before your own.

Or are you staying in relationships that are no longer working for you but you don't know how to get out.

Maybe you’re dating and wondering why you keep choosing people who aren’t right for you.

Or perhaps nothing is particularly 'wrong', but something just doesn’t feel right - and you want to understand yourself better.

I’m an accredited Relate-trained relationship therapist. I work with individuals and couples, helping people understand the patterns we have developed throughout our lives that then shape the way we relate to ourselves and others.

This might involve attachment, self-worth, boundaries (or a lack of), people-pleasing, communication, conflict, emotional dependency, difficult relationship dynamics or repeating experiences from earlier in life that continue to influence you now.

I’m warm, honest and straightforward in my approach. There is no judgment allowed in my therapy space, that starts with me, but also includes you too. In our work together, we will work towards a positive self-narrative, because no one wants to live with someone telling them off all the time.

You don't need to arrive at therapy with a perfectly articulated problem. You can come in confused, angry, stuck, overwhelmed or simply knowing that “I can’t keep doing this.”

We’ll work it out together.

Therapy isn’t about becoming a completely different person from who you are right now. It's about becoming the best version of the person you want to be if life, and the troubles it can bring, wasn't dragging you down.

I get it, because I've totally been there and now I'm not, all thanks to therapy.
