About me
Person-centred counselling puts you at the centre of our sessions, while I guide our discussions and support you by introducing psychotherapy tools to provide structure to your thinking. The guiding purpose is to allow you to discover the best way forward for you as an individual - we are all unique.
I am based in Wadebridge, accredited with the 'National Counselling and and Psychotherapy Society' (NCPS) and registered with the 'British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy' (BACP) as an Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor & Supervisor (this means I am also qualified to support other counsellors). I am qualified as an 'Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists' (ACCPH) Life Coach.
There are a number of reasons why you might want to engage in therapy and often our conversations can cover unexpected topics. However, I regularly work across a number of different areas and can support you if you are struggling with: addiction, trauma such as complex trauma, PTSD or childhood trauma, abuse (mental, physical, sexual and financial), bereavement, neurodiversity, bullying and relationship issues, gender conflict, self-harm, depression, anxiety or suicide. I work with adults, teenagers, couples and families, providing my services face-to-face, online or over the telephone. I also receive referrals from public sector groups including police authorities and the Foreign Office to work with people who have suffered from trauma at work and human trafficking.
In tailoring our counselling sessions to your needs I will seek to build your trust, work within your boundaries of comfort and provide a safe space for you to consider your thoughts, feelings, emotions and behaviours. Then together we can determine how you want to move forward and the best way to reach your goals. I love helping people and seeing the difference committing to change through counselling and psychotherapy can achieve. If you would like to work with me, please get in touch, we can discuss your reasons for seeking support and see if we are able to work together.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
