About me

My aim is to provide a comfortable, non-judgmental, and supportive environment, where we can work through your challenges and dilemmas together. I offer integrative, open-ended individual psychotherapy.

Training, qualifications & experience

I started my work in the mental health field in 2006. Since then, I have worked for various organisations including Victim Support, MIND, Women’s Aid, East London NHS Foundation Trust, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, and Xyla Services. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and a Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology. I am a registered Counselling Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a chartered member of the BPS’s Division of Counselling Psychology. As a Counselling Psychologist, I trained in a range of therapeutic modalities, which means that I can integrate them to suit your personal needs.

In my clinical practice, I integrate humanistic therapies, mindfulness and developmental psychology.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
