About me

Hi, I am Anna and I provide professional psychotherapy and counselling in Northampton and online across the UK. This is a calm, compassionate and non-judgemental environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at your own pace, helping you gain clarity, build resilience and create meaningful, lasting change.

I work with individuals and couples. I offer face-to-face counselling in Northampton, as well as online counselling sessions across the UK for anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism, PMDD, stress, grief, PTSD, low self-esteem and relationship difficulties.

Whether you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or finding relationships difficult, or perhaps you are struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, family issues, complex mental health or relationship challenges, or maybe you are feeling unheard, disconnected from yourself or those around you, or unsure where to begin; whatever you’re facing, you don’t have to navigate it alone, and I can offer the space for you to feel listened to, understood and supported.

I have experience working with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress, trauma, grief and loss, anger, emotional regulation, attachment issues, autism, ADHD, OCD, family conflict, separation, infidelity, communication difficulties, life transitions and complex mental health, menopause, PMDD. I also support clients experiencing long-term emotional distress, personality difficulties and the impact of adverse childhood experiences.

I understand that no two people or relationships are the same, that is why I tailor therapy to your individual needs, drawing upon evidence-based approaches to help you understand patterns, improve communication, strengthen emotional wellbeing and build healthier relationships—with yourself and with those who matter most.

Alongside my clinical work, I have conducted research within LGBTQIA+ mental health and have a particular interest in supporting mental wellbeing within both professional and grassroots sport. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and strive to provide an inclusive, affirming and culturally sensitive therapeutic space.

Whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your child or young person, your relationship or your family, you don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. Together, we can work towards greater understanding, emotional wellbeing and lasting positive change.

Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting, but it is also one of the most courageous investments you can make in yourself. If you think I may be the right person to help you with this journey, please contact me to arrange an introductory call.
