Exploring Therapy with Me: A Journey of Discovery and Growth
Join me on a journey where warmth meets professionalism. Here's a glimpse into how we might work together:
Talk Therapy: Through open dialogue, we'll uncover parts of yourself you may have cast aside. Together, we'll navigate your experiences, thoughts, and feelings in a safe space.
Body-Oriented Awareness: Tune into the language of your body. By listening attentively, you'll gain deeper insights and understanding of your intuition and gut responses.
Creative Expression: Explore various expressive outlets like journaling, movement, mapping family dynamics, or doodling to gain new insights and moments of calm.
Empowerment Approach: Nurturing Inner Wisdom and Self-Discovery
I will not tell you what to do or what path to take, because I trust that in time you will develop the confidence and insight to move and respond from the place of your own inner knowing.
I'll help you uncover your own insights and solutions. Together, we'll explore new perspectives, fostering self-awareness and confidence in your ability to find your own path, at your own pace.
Counseling: More Than You Might Expect
You might imagine that counselling sessions are always 'heavy' or 'difficult' but that is not always the case.
While counseling can involve exploring challenges, it's also a space to celebrate your successes, recognise your strengths, and nurture your talents. In addition to addressing difficult emotions, sessions may also bring moments of laughter and uplifting connection.
Who I Work With: Embracing Diverse Life Paths and Holistic Perspectives
I work with men and women with a broad range of life experiences. I do have a particular interest in serving people with creative, holistic, or spiritual interests.
Am I the right fit for you?
I understand that starting counseling can feel overwhelming, which is why I offer a free no-obligation 30-minute initial consultation online. This allows you to share what's on your mind, and in turn, for me explain how I might be able to support you.
If after we meet, we do decide to work together, my counseling sessions are open-ended and offered via Zoom, lasting for 50 minutes and the rate of exchange is £55 per session.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
