About me

For leaders and professionals who are performing brilliantly but can't switch off

You've built a life that looks good from the outside. You're capable, reliable, someone people depend on. But somewhere along the way, performing became involuntary. Your nervous system is locked in "go," and no amount of willpower, boundaries, or mindset work will unlock it, because the problem isn't your thinking. It's your body.

When you're neurologically stuck in high performance, you can't choose authenticity. You can't slow down or be genuinely seen, because survival mode doesn't allow it. You're exhausted, but you can't rest. You understand yourself intellectually, but feel disconnected from who you actually are.

This is what I work with

My approach is different because it starts where the problem actually lives: in your nervous system. Once your body learns it's safe enough to settle, something shifts. Performance becomes optional rather than mandatory. Being seen stops feeling dangerous. And authenticity becomes possible, not through trying harder, but through finally being able to stop.

I work somatically and psychotherapeutically, combining nervous system work with exploring the deeper patterns that built this way of being. I specialise in working with high-responsibility roles and neurodivergent individuals, where the demands are real and the cost is usually hidden.

I'm also the author of A.N.G.E.R: Get What You Want Without Losing Yourself, which explores how anger and emotional intensity are often your nervous system's way of signalling that something needs to change, and how to work with that signal rather than suppress it.

What happens next

If this resonates, get in touch for a free 15-minute conversation. We'll talk about what you're experiencing and whether working together feels right. Sessions are online, confidential, and tailored to your needs.

Most reach out during a transition or at a point of pressure. That's normal. We start from there.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
