About me
Hello, I’m Andrea, I would like to warmly welcome you to Let’s Explore Therapies and guide you through the Counselling and Psychotherapy Services I am offering.
I understand how at times life can feel incredibly overwhelming and finding the right counsellor to help is crucial to feeling safe and able to explore your difficulties. I hope by reading my profile you’ll gain a sense of how I work and how I can support you on your path to wellbeing.
I am a qualified Gestalt therapist with additional training in Person-centred approach and Transpersonal therapy. As a Gestalt therapist I will work holistically whilst focusing in on the issues you are experiencing in the present moment. Together we will explore your life circumstances both past and present to understand better the challenges you are facing right now. By integrating the person-centred approach and transpersonal therapy into my work, I can offer you a therapeutic experience that nurtures self-acceptance and self-valuing, along with a greater sense of purpose and interconnection.
Let’s Explore Therapies is founded on the ethos that everyone has the potential to heal and grow, and my aim is to provide you with a calm and safe environment where you will experience compassionate understanding and feel safe to explore and express your thoughts and feelings. All sessions are completely confidential, empathic, and non-judgemental and you can be sure you will be listened to and heard with the upmost respect and valuing.
Sessions are tailored to your needs, whether you prefer to meet face-to-face at my comfortable and inviting therapeutic space near Southampton or by connecting online from the comfort of your own home. Both short-term and long-term therapy is offered, and appointments are available during the day and in the evening, so you can be sure to fit in this valuable time for yourself around other commitments.
Let’s explore this journey of healing and self-discovery together, where your needs, growth, and well-being are at the heart of my practice.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
