About me
I have been working with people in various capacities for over 20 years, joining them in sense-making journeys that allow them to live more content and meaningful lives. My therapeutic focus is to help people explore their thoughts, emotions and past so as to relieve difficult states or obstacles to their wellbeing. When people understand what drives their actions and make contact with lost or hidden parts of themselves, they can re-engage with relationships and feel they can own their life.
Gaining insight into what is unconsciously driving one's thoughts and behaviours can dramatically shift their outlook and the way one responds to life events. I have trained psychoanalytically to get to the roots of what keeps people entrapped in emotional or relational status-quos but also to locate those resources to free themselves and get a sense of their own destiny.
I work online in medium and long-term psychotherapy with patients from both the UK and Europe, and also offer face-to-face sessions in my private practice in Bournemouth and one day a week in London. My average fee is £55/weekly session, but I also practice a sliding scale based on frequency and life circumstances.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
