About me
I offer you a compassionate and supportive space where you can slow down, breathe, and be fully yourself. All parts of you are welcome here, even the ones you may hide, criticise, or feel confused about. Together, we can explore your story, deepen your understanding, and help you move forward with more clarity and self-compassion.
I have a particular interest in how early experiences and relationships shape the way you see yourself and others today. My work is integrative, which means I tailor therapy to you as an individual. I offer both counselling and high-intensity CBT, depending on your needs, goals, and preferences.
I also offer creative psychotherapy for moments when words feel difficult or not quite enough. This might include using imagery, metaphor, writing, or creative exercises to help you express and make sense of your experience in a different way.
Training, qualifications & experience
My background is in psychology, and I have been supporting people in mental health settings for over 10 years. I also hold a Master’s degree in Counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
I continue to develop my practice through regular supervision and ongoing professional training, with a recent focus on creative psychotherapy, for when words are not always enough.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Therapy isn’t only for when things feel unmanageable. You don’t need a diagnosis or a “big reason” to start. It can also be about choosing
to invest in yourself, taking time to pause, reflect, and create positive changes.
Alongside counselling, I also offer high-intensity CBT if you prefer a more structured and goal-focused approach.
Together, we can explore what feels most helpful for you and adapt therapy over time as your needs and goals evolve.
