About me

About me

I am an integrated counsellor with 3 years of counselling experience within private practice and the NHS. I am dedicated to offering a safe space for you to freely express your thoughts and feelings without judgement and support you in navigating life’s challenges. My approach is grounded in the person-centred approach, while integrating evidence-based techniques from other counselling methods. This allows me to tailor each session to meet the unique needs of every individual, ensuring that we focus on your goals and challenges at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Counselling space

I provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. During our sessions, you can expect a client-led experience where you can openly explore and be heard within a supportive and trusted environment that invests in your personal growth.

My aim is to meet you where you are, build a trusting therapeutic relationship, and support you in achieving your personal goals and making meaningful changes in your life.

What I Can Help With

I support adults who are experiencing emotional, psychological, and life challenges who want a space to explore what’s going on for them. You may come to counselling feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure and we can work together at your pace to make sense of your experiences.

Examples of what I can help with:

  • Anxiety and overthinking
  • Low mood and depression
  • Stress, burnout, and feeling overwhelmed
  • Low self-esteem
  • Relationship and family difficulties
  • Life transitions
  • Bereavement and Grief
  • Identity and self-exploration
  • Feeling stuck or disconnected
  • Past experiences that continue to impact your present

In our time together I hope for you to feel heard, understood, and supported. Counselling is not about being “fixed” or being coached; it’s about gaining insight, developing resilience, finding your true self and how to move forward.

Delivery

I offer counselling sessions online, in-person at a community centre, and walk-and-talk therapy to ensure accessibility and variety. I am flexible with scheduling, and my availability changes weekly.

If you’re considering working with me, send me an email and we can schedule a call to ensure I am the right fit for you.

I appreciate that seeking support can be daunting but when life feels too full, too fast, or too heavy - you don't have to carry it alone.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have over 10 years of experience in the private mental health sector and have been practising as a counsellor for 3 years within private practice and the NHS. I started my counselling journey with Level 2 studies and now hold a First-Class BA (Hons) degree in Counselling. While my foundation is rooted in the person-centred approach, I have expanded my knowledge through additional qualifications in other therapeutic approaches, allowing me to work as an integrative counsellor.

I am committed to continually developing my knowledge through ongoing training, ensuring I provide a diverse and high standard of counselling. As a registered member of the BACP, I am dedicated to adhering to their ethical framework to safeguard the well-being of my clients.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
