About me

Whether you're facing a major life change, grieving a loss of any kind, processing past trauma, or struggling with difficult relationship dynamics, I’m here to walk alongside you.

Trauma can leave us feeling disconnected - from ourselves, others, and our sense of direction. It can make the world and even our own bodies feel unsafe. Together, we can work to gently rebuild that connection, helping you move toward greater self-understanding, safety, and peace.

I believe therapy is for everyone - not just in times of crisis, but also as a space to deepen self-awareness, uncover hidden parts of yourself, and feel more empowered in your life.

Ways of working

I work with individuals and couples to explore their inner world, make sense of old patterns and support them in becoming a more authentic version of themselves. I endeavour to create a warm compassionate space where you feel seen, heard and deeply understood. My work is collaborative, relational and client led- moving at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

I also work relationally, placing the therapeutic relationship at the heart of the work. I see therapy as a collaborative, person-to-person process that can be deeply transformative, offering a space where each individual is recognised in their uniqueness and lived experience. I have trained to work interculturally and I am mindful of how culture, identity and social context shape a person’s sense of self and relationships.

Walk and Talk Therapy

I offer 1-1 walk and talk therapy in Regents Park on a Tuesday. Ecotherapy is designed to experience the therapeutic benefits of being out in nature whilst processing your thoughts and feelings. The sessions are 50 minutes long and created to reap the benefits of side by side interaction in a relaxing setting. We will start and end at the same point each week. If the weather is inclement we will meet online.

Couples Therapy

I work with couples experiencing conflict and everyday relationship challenges, including communication difficulties, recurring disagreements, feeling disconnected, broken trust/affairs or navigating life transitions together.

My focus is on helping partners deepen understanding, improve communication and develop healthier patterns in their relationship by using Imago dialogue techniques.

ONLINE Somatic Stress Relief Group

Are you feeling constantly stressed, exhausted or burned out?  This structured 4-week ONLINE Somatic Stress Relief Group offers a calming space where you'll learn practical tools to reduce stress, cultivate greater inner peace and reconnect with yourself amidst the demands of daily life. Designed with busy people in mind, this small, supportive group offers a dedicated hour each week to slow down, regulate your nervous system and build simple practices you can use in everyday life. The next group begins on Thursday 9th July 2026, 10:00–11:00am. Cost: £100 for all four sessions.

Inner child workshop-ONLINE only

This is a structured 6 week online group (up to 10 participants) to explore gentle, experiential inner child work through reflection, guided visualisations, and self-compassion practices. The sessions will be 1.5 hours including psychoeducation and supportive group discussion. By the end of the workshop you will understand your inner child’s needs and emotions, learn self-soothing and reparenting techniques, transform the inner critic into an ally and cultivate warmth and acceptance toward yourself. Sessions are £30 each or £180 for 6 sessions. Register your interest for by emailing me at psychotherapywithali@gmail.com

Workshop dates: July 7th-August 11th 2026

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
