About me
- Are you looking for a supportive, dynamic space to explore your anxiety, thoughts, emotions and challenges with honesty and self-compassion?
- Do you find yourself ruminating over childhood wounds or perhaps the impact of abuse or narcissistic harm, anxiety, depression, inner criticism?
- Do you feel stuck in shame, self-doubt, painful relationships, or a quiet sense that you are not quite enough?
As a Psychodynamic, Integrative, Humanistic counsellor I work with you in a collaborative, direct way to uncover unconscious patterns that were adaptive in the past but create suffering now. I bring warmth and I also bring challenge because real insight rarely comes from being comfortable. Together, we will explore the beliefs and behaviours formed early in life that quietly shape who we become, the relationships we choose, and the way we see ourselves. Much of this runs below the surface. Bringing it into awareness is where real, lasting change begins.
My approach is warm and direct. I do not sit passively; I track what is beneath what you are saying, name patterns as they emerge and invite you into moments of genuine insight. Clients often find that clarity comes sooner than they expected.
I bring experience from Bath Spa University, Bright Start Bath, Southside Bath, and Choose Therapy, alongside my private practice, working with a wide range of people and challenges over the years.
The areas I work with include:
- anxiety
- trauma
- depression
- family issues
- low self esteem / self confidence
- childhood trauma
- emotional and physical abuse
- PTSD
- emotionally immature or narcissistic parenting
- perfectionism
- neglect
The approach I use is based on exploring early childhood (psychodynamic) subconscious patterns, Schema Therapy, Inner Child work, Parts Work and more.
I know that reaching out takes courage. I also know that ongoing therapy is a real financial commitment. This is why I offer a free initial 60minute session no obligation, no pressure. Just a conversation to see if we are a good fit.
Sessions are £50 for a 60 minute session. Available online or in person in Bath and Bristol.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
