About me
Through warmth and respect, we will build a therapeutic relationship together. One where you will feel safe to share your world with me. I am a person-centred therapist who offers a judgement-free space to empower your curiosity, while promoting resilience and self-compassion. With reflection and honesty, we can find ways to rebuild supportive structures and to reconnect with ourselves and others.
As a person-centred therapist, the relationship we build is at the heart of the work. I’ll provide you with a confidential space in which you’ll have the freedom to explore the roots of your emotions and experiences. A large part of my psychotherapeutic experience is working with clients who have unresolved trauma.
I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience therapy and have a space that is just for them. I work with individuals who may feel lost, stuck or anxious, and may be questioning who they are and where they belong. Sometimes this involves addressing challenging feelings and returning to difficult experiences. I offer a safe space for people to explore changes in their sense of purpose, identity, and life stage. My goal is to galvanise my clients to reduce their distress; to clarify past and current perspectives; and to understand how they can use this knowledge to find a new way forward.
Training, qualifications & experience

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I understand that reaching out can be daunting, especially if you’re already feeling overwhelmed. After you initially reach out, I will be in touch to arrange an introductory chat, which is free and no-strings-attached. You must find a therapist who is the best fit for you. During this 30-minute conversation, we can discuss what you are looking for in therapy, and you can get a sense of how I work. From here, we would arrange our first session.
I currently work face-to-face in the centre of Halifax and Manchester, as well as remote sessions.
