About me

Hi ! I'm Alexandra, registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist.

"It was great to know that I had a safe space to express how I felt and not feel judged, and to explore different avenues to find the tools I need to help me navigate my issues. Thank you so much. "

"Sessions have been wonderful, talking with Alexandra helps answer all my questions"

I am passionate about helping others work through their struggles. Our life presents challenges and obstacles, and I am dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space for my clients to work through their difficulties with empathy, authenticity, and without judgement.

I specialise in wedding stress management, offering targeted support for individuals navigating the unique pressures and emotional challenges associated with wedding planning. My approach helps clients manage stress and maintain their well-being during this significant life event.

My aim is to help others on their journeys to become the best versions of themselves. Having connected with individuals from diverse backgrounds globally, I have a wide experience and work with a multi-ethnic and diverse clientele. I adapt my practice to you, working both short-term and long-term. I work closely with my clients to understand their current situation and adjust my practice to best suit their needs.

In addition to my experience as a counsellor, I am also a seasoned coach at the C-suite level, with a background in Operations and Events management. With over 10 years experience producing global events and conferences and managing operations in 15 countries, I bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to my practice.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
