About me

Hi and welcome to my page. I specialise in supporting people to overcome problems with their mental health, including anxiety and depression, so that they can live happy and fulfilling lives. We all know that suffering from poor mental health negatively affects so much of what's important to us. Our education or work, our physical health, our sleep, and our relationships are just some examples. The good news is that it doesn't have to be this way. With the right support, you can make positive changes and overcome what's holding you back. It's as simple as that.

I work with people across the North East (Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northumberland) and nationally to support their mental health using quality, evidence-based psychological approaches that work. I deliver these in a positive and accessible way that I have seen transform lives over the last 15 years working in the NHS and private practice.

Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
