About me

I work with people who are experiencing mental health problems, particularly low mood and anxiety, feel supported and able to overcome that horrible feeling of being held back from living the life they want.

I'm a NHS and private clinical psychologist with lots of experience and skill in applying effective, evidence-based techniques that really work. I have a warm and accessible style that will help you feel comfortable and understood. I work with young people and adults.

I offer a free consultation so that you can ask any questions and be sure that you have found the right person to help you. You can arrange by giving me a call or sending an email. You can also book through my website, which has a lot more information about me and the support I provide. I look forward to speaking with you soon.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
