About me
Hello. I am a psychotherapist working online and in person in Clifton, Bristol.
The space I offer is held with positive regard where all of your experience is welcome.
Good therapy can help us to trust out hearts more. In sharing those parts of us that do not feel ok and are hard to be with, we can find more ground in relation to our difficulties. In so doing we become clearer about our needs and more able to live a happy and fulfilled life.
Having a good relationship with your therapist is important in therapy. I offer initial consultations where we can see how it feels for us to work together.
Core Process Psychotherapy is an integrative and body oriented form of psychotherapy. It draws on psychodynamic, Buddhist and relational perspectives in considering how we have been shaped by early experiences in life and the importance of relationship in our lives in understanding ourselves and our hearts and minds. It is a form of therapy that can facilitate deep healing and transformational change.
I began training in psychotherapy in 2017 and started seeing clients a year after this. I am fully accredited as a psychotherapist from the Karuna Institute, now in Bristol. I am a member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy and Association of Core Process Psychotherapists.
Prior to working as a therapist, I spent 15 years working Children and Families' Social Work that gave me a range of experience that supports my work as a therapist. Before this I studied languages and studied French and Hindi, that drew me to wanting to work with communities.
I am passionate about supporting clients to trust their hearts more, in order to live more authentically and with greater self love in life, and in so doing, find greater satisfaction in life and in relationships.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
