About me
Pluralistic Counsellor:
Searching for the right counsellor can be a difficult task; ensuring that you find someone that you click with is essential, considering that the relationship you have with your therapist is the biggest predictor of positive change. Which is why I offer a free 30 minute session to allow you to get a feel for me, as well as my way of working.
In the first 30 minutes, we will discuss what brings you to counselling, whether or not we feel I’m the right fit for you, and create a draft version of a “roadmap” to your goals that is personalised to you and your needs. As I would in every session, I will offer you an honest, empathetic, non-judgemental space to explore the issues that you are experiencing.
What do I offer?:
I work with a wide range of issues, such as: anxiety, low mood, suicidal ideation, stress, neurodiversity and more. With a passion for supporting survivors of sexual harm and extensive knowledge and experience in trauma, I also provide trauma-informed counselling to survivors of sexual harm.
As a pluralistic counsellor, I use a range of interventions from several types of therapy such as: cognitive behavioural therapy, person-centred counselling, gestalt therapy, solution-focused therapy and more.
Whilst working towards your goals, my personal goals are to ensure that you leave therapy feeling empowered, more self-aware and better able to cope with the challenges that life has thrown at you - and I achieve this by ensuring that our work is led by your needs and your needs only.
Sessions:
Our sessions will be 50 minutes long and open-ended, meaning that there is no limit to how many sessions you can have. One session costs £50, and should you feel we are a good fit after a few sessions, you can pay for a block of 5 sessions which costs £240.
***Please note: I will try to respond to all queries within 24 hours. Please contact me via email, Instagram or my website***

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
