Why therapy? .

You could be dealing with unexpected responses to life's dilemmas; grieving loss, or feeling less able to cope with the stresses and strains of city life.

Perhaps just struggling to create balance as you negotiate the demands of; friends, family, work and relationships. This is where therapy could help.

I am an experienced therapist with an MA in Psychotherapy, offering you confidential non-judgemental psychotherapy.

My style is integrative and transpersonal, sessions will be tailored to suit you, the individual, and your therapy is confidential and non discriminatory.

As a member of the BACP, I follow their ethical code of practice and offer brief solution focused therapy in a warm, relaxed, and confidential setting, as well as a longer term commitment.

Psychotherapy can often be combined with EFT, and healing. My training in CBT (mindfulness) means working with core issues to treat depression, anxiety or phobias.

Longer term psychotherapy is indicated for help with deep seated issues that need longer term exploration.

CBT is indicated for goal orientated solutions to specific issues. Sessions will be tailored to suit you, the individual.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
