For a couple of years I had a strong anxiety within me that felt over whelming at times... it affected my confidence and my perception on everything. It also made me feel like I had to be someone or something I'm not just to be "ok". I've been in counselling / therapy for about 4 or 5 months now and just talking about the issues with a great therapist, and having someone challenge you on your thoughts really helps to unravel a lot of that insecurity that was within me....Acceptance is probably the word that describes my journey the most. I'm so much more comfortable with myself and no longer feel I have to "micro manage" parts of my personality.... I would recommend it to anyone if they want to gain self understanding and a redefined perception on themselves or their reality.
