Attendance at this CPD course will enable you to recognise and assess different levels of trauma and distress. 

Becoming effective in offering stabilisation techniques to clients experiencing hyper-arousal and trauma, therefore, working safely with trauma. 

Recognising own limitations and how to manage own self-care, if clients may be presenting with symptoms of PTSD, after a life changing event i.e. RTA, D/V, experiencing childhood neglect and sexual physical abuse or having experienced a violent crime.
