Understanding your eating - five week course
Have you ever wondered about your eating behaviour? Do you feel you eat more than you need to or want to? Have you ever wondered if your feelings are driving your eating behaviour?
If you can answer yes to these questions or you have experienced yo-yo dieting, bulimia or obesity then this course is relevant to you.
This five-week course explores the psychological and emotional factors of our eating behaviours. The course is delivered within a small, safe and confidential group setting and explores the following areas.
Tuesday the 16th of January 2018, 18.30-20.30 - Induction and week one - emotional eating and the language of feelings
Tuesday the 23rd of January 2018, 18.30-20.00 - Self soothing
Tuesday the 30th of January 2018, 18.30-20.00 - Self-esteem
Tuesday the 6th of February 2018, 18.30-20.00 - Body-esteem
Tuesday the 13th of February 2018, 18.30-20.00 - Relationships

If you would like to book a place on the course then contact myself and I will send you a registration form. A deposit of fifty pounds is required at the time of booking which is none refundable. Full payment is required at least two weeks prior to the course start date, no later than the 08/01/18. For the course to run there needs to be at least six participants. If this number is not reached and I decide to not run the course then a full refund will be given after the 10/01/18. The course will be no larger than eight participants.
* This course is not suitable for anyone who has a diagnosis of anorexia.
About the host
Katie Hampton is an experienced counsellor and mindfulness practitioner working in the Peterborough area with an interest in disordered eating. She works in local GP surgeries, private practice and delivers the Understanding Your Eating workshop to clients with obesity within the public sector.
