Mindfulness is a very pragmatic way of training your mind, which results in stress reduction, and mental resilience to face the realities of day to day life. It enables you to declutter and freshen the mind and gain focus. Resulting in improved relationships with yourself and others.

There are numerous case studies and research into the benefits and results of regular mindfulness practice.

The power of mindfulness is now so accepted it’s officially recognised by the NHS as an effective method of combating depression. What’s more, 68% of GPs think it would be beneficial for all patients to learn mindfulness (according to the Mental Health Foundation’s Be Mindful report).

At The Workshop you will:-

  • learn what is mindfulness and the origin of mindfulness

  • experience short mindfulness practices

  • consider when and where you may use mindfulness techniques

  • identify where to find further information/practice mindfulness

Delegate Feedback

“This short session has shown me that my life doesn’t have to be the chaos it is, and the speed that it is”! Scientist

“Bar the 4 minutes of practice with you my mind has been stressing all day about a problem I have, I now realise that I don’t have to have that stress” Health & Safety Manager

Mindfulness can:-

Improve the quality of life, change behaviour, build resilience levels, reduce stress, improve well-being, create focus, clarity, improve mental health and finally boost productivity and creativity.

For businesses it can:-

Lead to culture change, be an essential leadership competency, reduce your remedial spend, (private health care, employee assistance programmes, absence management, occupational health) and provide a strategic lever within an organisation to facilitate better decision making.
