Mindfulness involves learning to direct our attention to our experience as it unfolds, moment by moment, with open-minded curiosity and acceptance.

This eight-week course will teach methodology and skills needed to develop a life long mindfulness practice. There is a natural pace to developing a mindfulness practice and each stage will be explored week by week in full. 

Over the eight weeks we will explore a variety of topics including:      

  • introduction and orientation
  • depression and anxiety
  • relationships as mirrors
  • effective communication
  • challenging beliefs
  • transforming thinking patterns
  • stages of insight into self-understanding.

I am an experienced counsellor and lecturer in psychology. I have been practising meditation and mindfulness for 20 years and have received specific teacher training in Mindfulness. I have facilitated this course in a number of settings and it has always been well received. I am delighted to be offering it again at this time.
