Mindfulness course for eight consecutive Saturdays from 29th August 2015
Mindfulness involves learning to direct our attention to our experience as it unfolds, moment by moment, with open-minded curiosity and acceptance.
This eight-week course will teach methodology and skills needed to develop a life long mindfulness practice. There is a natural pace to developing a mindfulness practice and each stage will be explored week by week in full.
Over the eight weeks we will explore a variety of topics including:
- introduction and orientation
- depression and anxiety
- relationships as mirrors
- effective communication
- challenging beliefs
- transforming thinking patterns
- stages of insight into self-understanding.
