Mindfulness and compassion course 1.5 hrs per week over 8 weeks
This course will enable you to gain a deeper understanding and practice of mindfulness. It is suitable for counsellors as CPD (12 hrs) and is also open to others who would like to develop or deepen their mindfulness practice.
Over the eight weeks, you will learn the methodology and skills of being mindful and also explore a range of relevant topics such as:
- Reducing stress and anxiety.
- Improving relationship with self and others.
- Reviewing and challenging old beliefs and thinking patterns.
There will be plenty of opportunities to practice gentle and effective mindfulness exercises, underpinned by compassionate self-enquiry.
This is a popular course that I have been running for several years. The venue in Bognor Regis is close to the Bognor railway station and there is plenty of car parking space. It is close to the sea and is a warm, quiet and comfortable space.
