Counselling skills and effective communication

Obtain knowledge of what counselling is and develop skills and experience to be able to use basic counselling techniques in day to day situations, enhancing your life and that of others. 

Understand the impact your communication skills have on others. You will explore how improving your communication skills can enhance your relationships in and out of the work place and how effective communication can enable you to succeed.

We look at styles of communicating, creating the right impression, common communication and listening errors, and how to rectify and improve interactions.

*With two trainers delivering each workshop candidates receive a personal service. Classes consist of a minimum of six and maximum of 10 attendees in a relaxed informal environment. We feel this approach allows each student to get the most out of the day.
