Supervision details
I have many years of experience in providing supervision in NHS settings and more recently in private practice. I provide supervision for a range of mental health professionals including psychologists, CBT Therapists, counsellors and trainees. I have a specialist interest in eating disorders, long-term physical health conditions and trauma. I have a strong background in CBT, ACT and person-centred approaches, working at varying complexities.
It is important that we, as clinical supervisors, can provide the container for you and your practice. It is a joint endeavour between supervisor and supervisee that brings focus to the client, the client-therapist relationship and the wider systemic and contextual factors.
In providing help and support I am committed to ensuring safe and ethical practice in line with HCPC and BPS guiding frameworks, codes and principles. I aim to help you to reflect, feel challenged, and supported within a warm and validating supervisory relationship. I will be happy to draw from a variety of supervision models in order to tailor my support to you.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
