Supervision details
I am a HCPC-registered Counselling Psychologist working in the NHS and in private practice. have completed further supervisor training through the North Thames DClinPsy universities, in line with RAPPS accreditation requirements (Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors).
In my role as a senior practitioner within the NHS I provide supervision to qualified psychologists, clinical psychology trainees and counselling psychology trainees.
I tend to work using the integrative framework. However, I have been trained in CBT, psychodynamic, person-centred and third-wave approaches. I believe it is important for practitioners to focus on the content and process of therapy. I encourage supervisees to think of clients in a holistic manner which involves being culturally mindful and self-aware.
My aim as a supervisor is to provide a supportive environment which allows you to be reflective and helps you develop your skills. I would also be more than happy to provide career guidance to help you become the practitioner you aspire to be.
I offer regular ongoing slots, and ad-hoc sessions where necessary. At present my group supervision slots are not available.
Fees:
Trainee practitioners - £70
Qualified practitioners - £90
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
