Supervision details

I have a Diploma in Integrative Supervision. My goal in supervision is to provide a safe and confidential environment to support my supervisee in your clinical work. This will entail reflecting on your practice and how it may be impacting on your personal life. The purpose of supervision, and what I will strive to implement during our time is:

*To provide a regular space for the you to reflect upon the content and process of your work.

*To developing understanding and skills within the work.

*To relay information and my prospective of the therapeutic work in which you are carrying out.

* To support your professional development

*To enable the exploration of your emotional reactions to the work.

*To encourage your continuous growth as a professional.

*To validate and support you as a person as well as a worker.

*To receive and provide feedback.

*To ensure you are not left to carry unnecessary difficulties, problems or projections alone.

*To ensure you feel safe to explore personal distress, transference or counter-transference.

This will ensure great quality of work and in turn will ensure accountability to the work and lead to a more productive outcome for your clients.

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
