Supervision details

Hi there! I'm Anthony, an experienced counsellor, psychotherapist, and coach accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. With over 14 years of diverse experience in mental health and social care, I've worked with individuals of all ages and backgrounds both in the US and the UK.

I have been in private practice for 6 years and I use an integrative approach, drawing from various therapeutic modalities such as CBT, psychodynamic, humanistic, and solution-focused techniques. Additionally, I offer coaching and integrative counselling and coaching to support personal and professional development. I've helped clients navigate anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, sexuality and gender identity, racial identity and discrimination and bereavement/loss. My goal is to provide holistic counselling and coaching services tailored to my client's needs.

My approach to supervision is all about creating a safe and secure space for you to explore, learn, and grow. I aim to foster a secure, attuned, and trustworthy relationship where you feel free to discuss your practice, explore challenges, and embrace new perspectives. Using the Seven-Eyed Supervision model, I'll help you navigate the complexities of your work and gain deeper insights into your therapeutic approach.

It's natural to feel hesitant about being completely honest in supervision, but I want you to know that your anxieties, insecurities, and even your most challenging therapeutic moments are welcome here. My commitment is to provide understanding, compassion, and support as you grow as a therapist.

If you're interested in working together, let's connect! I offer clinical supervision online or in-person in South London (SE1) for qualified therapists and trainees. Reach out to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation to discuss your supervision needs.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
