  • >Supervisor Philomena Lane

I have an interest in working creatively in supervision and make use of role play, sand tray, collage and creative writing. I feel that this way of working brings another level of insight into how we formulate presenting difficulties and work with specific CBT models. There is no pressure to work in this way, I can equally accommodate a more specific CBT approach to supervision.

I also offer supervision online and via telephone. I do not offer this service to student therapists in training as I feel that face-to-face supervision is really important to thoroughly explore their cases, listen to aspects of their work via recordings, and give feedback on CTS-Rs.

I offer Group supervision for a maximum of Four supervisees.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
