Supervision details
I hold Certificates in Person-Centred Supervision from Psychology Matters (2007), and in CBT Supervision from Dr Michael Worrell, at The Central London CBT Training Centre (2014).In my NHS role as High Intensity CBT Psychotherapist over the past few years, I have been supervising both trainee and qualified therapists and I have been working as a qualified counsellor/psychotherapist since 2003. I love to help my supervisees move towards their potential as CBT, counsellors and psychotherapists. I have recently added Certification in Schema Therapy to my repertoire, and this now forms a key part of my blended approach to therapy. If requested by supervisees, I suggest alternative options when the way forward is not straightforward. In particular where interpersonal dynamics are problematic, I can usually find a way to help the therapeutic process flow. Supervision is an incredibly rewarding role.

British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP)
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
