Hi there,
I have worked in the NHS since 2004 in various settings including CRHT, inpatient and community mental health teams. I am experienced in working with people living with severe, complex and chronic mental health difficulties such as personality disorders, childhood abuse/complex trauma, dissociative disorders and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I have also supported individuals to work through loss, anxiety (including Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and depression. I currently work with adolescents and adults.
I have am a qualified Clinical Psychologist and accredited with the BABCP. I am experienced in and have completed further training in CBT, ACT, DBT and compassion based therapies. I have worked in the NHS for over 10 years and qualified in 2012. Since then I have supervised a variety of people including Trainee Clinical Psychologists and qualified therapists. I offer supervision in person or skype and use a predominantly ACT and compassion based approach but will use CBT where indicated.
