Supervision details

About me and my Supervision practice

I offer bespoke online Supervision packages tailored to your skills, qualifications and requirements.

I offer Supervision for clinical and non-clinical work.

I will work with you collaboratively, adding experience and passion to support you in your work.

I can support you in your clinical work as well as in your own personal well-being, creating a space for you to share your experiences openly.

I am a fully qualified Level 6 Clinical Supervisor and a fully accredited Counsellor, with extensive experience in working within both the private and public sector.

My experience is varied: working with businesses, charitable organisations, schools, GP surgeries, NHS Trusts and private practices. This wide range of sector experience allows me to adapt my work to tailor it to your bespoke needs.

I am experienced in setting up businesses from scratch, and efficiently running a busy and successful Therapy and Supervision practice.

I've operated in the medical sector both in general business operations and leadership roles. I've been responsible for the managing, coaching, supervising and the running of various, and at times multiple, businesses.

Practice description

In my busy and thriving practice I am passionate about offering a service that is embedded in the BACP Ethical framework.

With my extensive experience and qualifications in Supervision, I offer a safe place where there is mutual respect, honesty and trust. A place for you to feel supported, a space to discuss and seek accountability, and ensure you have good and healthy boundaries.

My core philosophical approach is Person-centred and Experiential, making the relationship central to our work together.

I draw on many different therapy and coaching theories and models dependant on your own unique needs.

I Supervise trainee and qualified Counsellors & Psychotherapists, Mentors, Coaches, Welfare Officers and other professionals within the private and public sector.

I was selected from a strong candidate field to exclusively Supervise staff at The Royal Papworth Hosptial. This work entails Supervising Doctors, specialist Nurses and the Administrative teams. I work closely with the Palliative Care, Oncology and Social Work teams providing support and strategies for personal and professional development.

I Supervise those working with young people, adults and couples in a range of settings and agencies. I am an experienced Supervisor who supports Psychotherapists and Counsellors across modalities.

I Supervise those in business leadership roles, offering regular support. This creative thinking space aids development, growth and helps senior leaders reach their full potential.

Session types:

• I offer unique packages for businesses keen to support their leadership teams.

• I offer individual Supervision sessions

• I offer small group Supervision sessions of 4 individuals for 120 minutes

• I offer ad hoc Supervision sessions

My first session

I recognise the importance of ensuring we are a good fit for working together, and so I offer a free 30-minute informal discussion for you to raise any questions you may have.

Thereafter, if and when we agree to work together, discussions regarding session durations and contracting will be completed.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
