Supervision details
I am an approved supervisor for The National Counselling Society. I believe that effective supervision is the key to building an effective workforce and that high quality supervision is one of the most important drivers in ensuring positive outcomes for people who use social care and children's services. Having founded a charity that addresses the Emotional Repercussions of Dyslexia I have worked with the most vulnerable in society and have developed and managed a team of multi-disciplinary practitioners. I therefore have extensive experience in providing supervision to Dyslexia Tutors, Social Workers, Counsellors and Teachers and offer space to explore your practice, without fear of judgement, in a containing enabling and empowering environment.Supervision of practice is vital firstly, to benefit your clients; to ensure they are enabled and empowered, and secondly, to develop your competence, confidence and ethical practice.I also provide support and guidance through Professional Conduct Procedures.I am on a voluntary register that has been accredited by the Professional Standards Authority. The AVR scheme was set up by the Government to improve standards and safety for the benefit of the public.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations.
