Supervision details
I have a Diploma in Casework Supervision and have twenty years plus experience supervising a variety of trainee and qualified practitioners. At this time I have sessions available sometimes within a few days. I am offering supervision sessions using Skype, Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, Facetime and by telephone. When we meet remotely, I will be in my usual room and will do my best to help you feel that you're here with me in my safe, comfortable and private space....my therapy room. I'm very familiar and comfortable using media and as long as you can be somewhere quiet and private I'm very happy to work with you in these practical and safe ways.
Fees are paid via bank transfer. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you would like to talk things though to see if what I offer may be of help to you. Stay safe, Caz.
I offer Person-Centred supervision to individuals and groups by telephone and via Skype, Teams, Zoom, Google Meet etc. I work with qualified counsellors, trainee supervisors, supervisors, student counsellors and a variety of supervisees, which have included: youth workers; social workers; student nurses; managers; nursery staff and CBT counsellors. I view my own regular supervision as essential for me (as well as ethically required), as a space to freely explore all aspects of my therapeutic work in a safe, supportive and gently challenging environment. This keeps my practise fresh, vibrant and healthy. It also keeps me supported; held; challenged and enabled and ready to go wherever my clients and supervisees need me to go with them.... I have taught all levels of counsellor training, in colleges and universities, over many years. I have been told by student counsellors that working with me has sometimes "filled in some significant gaps" in understanding the theory and process of counselling and enabled greater trust not only in the counselling process: his or her client's process, but in the self of the counsellor as well. If a supervisee wishes to bring recordings for feedback, that's fine with me (I strongly encourage this!) If a supervisee wishes to use art materials, to help them describe their client or their own feelings around the client, that's fine too. I believe it is of utmost importance, to receive high support and sometimes high challenge in supervision, but in a non-threatening and non-judgemental way. I aim to offer a safe and confidential space where my supervisees can bring all of themselves as a practitioner....the areas where further learning is necessary and also to CELEBRATE success! Who else can we share with when our clients make those 'magic-moment' connections or have 'light-bulb' experiences? Due to the confidentiality of our work, we cannot share those with anyone...except our supervisors. No-one knows your practise as you do. No-one knows your clients like you do. I work hard to offer my knowledge and experience as supportive feedback and am ready and willing to engage in an effective, ethical supervisory relationship. I offer an initial meeting without charge, of 30 minutes to see if we would like to work together. Please call me on: 07973 113027. More information at: www.caztaylortherapy.com
