Supervision details
I completed my Supervision Certificate as part of my Msc in Counselling at Salford University. My original training was Person Centred, but I have studied Brief Solution Focus Therapy, CBT and TA and would now describe myself as offering an Integrated Therapy tailored to my client's needs. I have trained Student Counsellors and worked with both individual Supervisees and with Groups of Supervisees. I would hope to offer my Supervisees a safe place to explore their counselling work. I will offer the opportunity to talk about client work, exploring interventions and also thoughts and emotions in response to the client and circumstances around the therapy work. I would hope to offer an open process where Supervisees can feel safe to look at their work without being judged, but where they can feel supported and helped about any concerns they may have related to their client work. We can also consider aspects of further training and review cpd.
