Michael Collins MSc, BPC/BACP (Reg) and BACP (Senior Accred)

London EC2M & EC1V
07950644095 07950644095 Registered / Accredited

I have been providing supervision to qualified and trainee counsellors/therapists for many years, with a personal interest in the relationship between the clinical work and the workplace setting.

I have extensive experience in supervising clinical work that takes place in private practice, residential care, day programs, higher education, social services, prisons, primary care and hospital settings.

I also supervise practitioners who provide couples counselling/therapy, as well as, supervising the supervision of other supervisors.

My approach draws on psychoanalytic, psychodynamic, attachment, cognitive and transpersonal theories and concepts, and pay particular attention to transference and countertransference phenomena and the parallel process.

My fee is £60 for a 60 minute session.

If you are interested in knowing more about my supervision approach I would be happy to have an initial telephone discussion before booking in a first appointment.

Accessibility

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
