At the beginning of this year my life started to spin out of control, so I decided to seek help from the college counselling service. This was one of the hardest things I had to do in my life. The morning of the first session came, and I felt sick and very nervous. When the time came to go in, the counsellor realised I was quite nervous about the whole thing; so she calmed me down, and then we started to talk about my problems. After a little while it felt like a weight had been lifted; it was nice to talk to someone who wasn't judgemental. In total I had 3 sessions; after that time I started to feel a lot more positive about things, and that is how I am now to this day. I would strongly recommend counselling to anyone who needs it.
