Working with suicidal clients can be one of the most challenging issues a counsellor has to face. This one day workshop will help counsellors gain an insight into working within this sensitive area.

Aspects covered include:

  • Signs and symptoms that your client may be suicidal.
  • What causes people to feel that way.
  • Busting myths around suicide.
  • Assessing risk.
  • Ask your supervisor.
  • Applying different theoretical models to the problem.
  • Case studies.

A certificate of attendance will be given on completion of the workshop.
