Working with suicidal clients can be one of the most challenging issues a counsellor has to face. This one day workshop will help counsellors gain an insight into working within this sensitive area.
Aspects covered include:
- Signs and symptoms that your client may be suicidal.
- What causes people to feel that way.
- Busting myths around suicide.
- Assessing risk.
- Ask your supervisor.
- Applying different theoretical models to the problem.
- Case studies.
A certificate of attendance will be given on completion of the workshop.
