About the event

Come and join the wonderful Claire Austin as we look deeper into understanding sexual violence and how to work with and protect the people we support who have been affected.

Course objective: How we work with sexual violence in the room and what it means to us as professionals.

Course schedule:

  • 10-11.30pm – Introductions and exploring what sexual violence means to us.
  • 11.30pm – Short break.
  • 11.45–2pm – Debunking myths, understanding rights and working with the empowerment model.

Refreshments and resources will be available on the day. A CPD certificate of four hours will be presented to attendees on the day.
