Forest therapy - turn of the seasons - Winter
Just before the winter solstice, we will mark the new seasonal change with a forest therapy walk in Epping Forest, close to Chingford station - only 20 minutes away from Hackney Central.
In a small group, we will walk at a gentle pace on a short trail. You will be offered especially crafted sensory and mindful invitations to help you slow down and access a calmer and more personal territory, as well as attune yourself to the energy of winter. By sharing our experience of nature together, we will also have the opportunity to explore both our personal and collective insights. And to end the walk, we'll share a special forest tea under the canopy.
Who is it for?
People from age 18 onwards. It is not a hike and doesn’t require to be particularly fit.
Forest therapy can be particularly beneficial if you are:
- often overwhelmed and stressed
- feeling depleted and lacking energy
- going through a life transition
- longing for a deeper and more meaningful relationship to nature
- struggling with seated meditation
