Dr Kate Anthony is a well-respected expert in the use of technology in mental health services. She is a Fellow of BACP and CEO of the Online Therapy Institute - a training organisation about and for the field of online therapy and counselling. She lives and works from her home 'The Whole of the Moon', a wide beam barge on the Grand Union canal in London, with her partner and three chickens.

This workshop will introduce the use of technology in supervisory services in the digital age. Working online via the internet with clients and supervisees has traditionally been met with suspicion by the mental health profession, yet has been shown to be economic, convenient, and effective. By working online, we can reach more people at their own convenience; being in their own environment is one of the best ways to foster a sound and relaxed therapeutic or supervisory relationship.

This workshop will focus on the use of technology in supervision. Theory, ethics and practical skills will also be discussed and examined - please bring your burning questions!

This will be followed by our AGM, and all are welcome to attend and contribute to input on our programs.
