The peace of wild things

Epping Forest, 6 rangers road, Chingford, E4 7HQ

Losing a loved one to suicide can be a terribly isolating and complex experience. And as well as going through lots of mixed emotions, it can bring a sense of disconnection from ourselves and the world around us.

This forest immersion is a gentle invitation to allow yourself a moment of respite in your grief, as well as an opportunity to experience connection and community. Among the hundred-year-old-oaks and hornbeams of Epping forest, I will offer you activities to help you take deep rest and ground yourself. You will also experience the soothing presence of nature, and possibly a new way to interact with it. And there will be moments to share our discoveries together and time spent in silence.

This experience has nothing to do with a form of group therapy. My intention is to offer you a deeply relaxing experience, without expectation or prescription put upon you. You won't be required to talk about your grief, but the knowledge that we will all have that in common will bring a sense of ease and safety in itself.
