For qualified Supervisors or those in training. YSF is a not for profit organisation who supports and builds networking for Supervisors across the UK. We hold networking events and CPD events exclusively for Supervisors and have done for the last 13 years across .

There is some anecdotal evidence that supervisors have to tread warily in the mix of social anxieties these days. Therapy has traditionally been apolitical, person-centred and confidential. But is this professional identity still protected, and how are supervisors engaging with these issues? This workshop will look in particular at (1) Covid and its consequences; (2) Multiculturalism and its implications; (3) the transgender movement and supervisors' responses.

A linking theme will be the freedom and responsibility of supervisors.
A brief role-play demonstration and talk will be followed by small group discussions, after which lessons and proposals will be formulated.
