In five Wednesday evening sessions online, we will tackle the most common cause of mental and physical health issues – stress. Clarifying what stress is and why it can even be good for us we will be developing the awareness, skills, techniques and tools that will help lighten your load and leave you feeling lifted.

Aims and learning outcomes:

  • Increase self-awareness and identify unhelpful thoughts
  • Recognise unhelpful 'safety behaviours'
  • Practice relaxation skills and mindfulness
  • Understand helpful and unhelpful distraction
  • Develop a growth mindset, a values-driven life, and limits
  • Greater maturity through an understanding of four communication styles

Our training online is limited to a small group of six to eight with time available to engage with other participants and the course facilitator in addition to guidance through course material. A short break will be taken midday through each session.
